BCSD's new intramural program continued May 6 with a free volleyball clinic for all BCSD residents in first through sixth grades.
Run by district teacher and coach, Kimmie Brumagin, more than 20 students participated in the clinic.
With the help of varsity volleyball players Kennedy Bell, Aubrey Parham and Emily Rist, intramural participants learned the fundamentals of the game of volleyball, including passing, setting and serving.
On May 14, the intramural program concludes for this school year with a soccer clinic at Bearcat Stadium from noon to 2 p.m. Next school year the intramural program will expand to include eight-week sessions for various sports.
Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
