Glendale Welcomes HistoryMakers

For the eighth consecutive year, Glendale Primary School has participated in the Back to School with the HistoryMakers program Sept. 27th. This year Glendale was selected for a visit from Paul Hill, Jr.

Mr. Hill is a civic leader, social worker, social activist, and author. He served for 30 years as the CEO of East End Neighborhood House. East End Neighborhood House  is one of the oldest (104 years) neighborhood based non-profit organizations in Cleveland and nationally known for its best practices in providing youth and family services. Mr. Hill is very well-traveled and brought to Glendale a wealth of knowledge and experience from around the globe.

Back to School with the HistoryMakers is a nationwide event in which hundreds of African American prominent leaders go out into the schools to tell their stories and raise awareness of the achievements of African Americans in communities across the country.
