  • Teachers Have Adapted Their Lessons to Remote Instruction!

    Sixth Grade Teacher, Mrs. Johnson, teachers her students Math and Science through virtual lessons. The Columbus Teachers have had to adapt their lessons to virtual lessons as they are teaching remote for the first quarter.

    Columbus' Staff decorated a school bus prior to the start if the Bedford City Schools Homecoming Parade on October 7, 2020. The staff was so happy to see present and former students and their families along the parade route!

  • Columbus' Principal, Mrs. Threat, and Columbus Dean,, Mr. Huff, are ready for the Homecoming Parade!

    Columbus Principal, Mrs. Threat, and Dean of Students, Mr. Huff, along with other teachers and staff decorated a school bus prior to the Bedford City Schools Homecoming parade on October 7, 2020. It was wondrful for the staff to see present and former students and their families along the parade route!

  • Mrs. Joyce teaches 5th grade students about constants and variables in Science

    Mrs. Maggie Joyce has been teaching her 5th grade students about the Scientific Method. She is modeling how constants and variables affect Science experiments. In this experiment, Mrs. Joyce used the variables of vinegar baking soda and the cosntants of the same water bottles, smake amount of the variable ingredients and balloons. The balloon ended up blowing up with the vinegar, but not the baking soda.
