Dr. Cassandra Johnson became Assistant Superintendent for the Bedford City School District August 1, 2017. Prior to her appointment as Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Johnson served as a middle school computer science teacher for the Dublin City School District and Lakewood City School District, as well an assistant principal for the Lakewood City School District, assistant principal for the Parma City School District, High School Principal for the Parma City School District, and HR Director for the Parma City School District. She obtained her Bachelor of Education, Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and Principal Licensure from the Ashland University. She obtained her Ph.D. From Concordia University.
Dr. Johnson’s primary role, working with the Superintendent, is to ensure that student needs are being met by overseeing the building level administration day to day operations, the athletic director/department initiatives, and all certificated human resources and labor relations job matters.
