The Director of Operations ensures the maintenance of all district buildings, grounds and equipment and directs the work of department employees. The Director implements the day-to-day operations of the District’s Emergency Management Plan and Safety procedures and will work in collaboration with the Building Principals to provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the facilities, in collaboration with the Lead Foreman. The Director works with the Director of Human Resources to interview and hire personnel, maintain regular communications with classified union leadership, and assist with grievance hearings and negotiations.
