The Bedford City School District’s Human Resources Department is dedicated to creating a positive and productive work environment for all district employees. We focus on attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse and talented workforce while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Our team provides comprehensive support for recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and employee relations, striving to provide opportunities to all. We also manage benefits and performance evaluation systems, working collaboratively with all departments to enhance the quality of education and support for our students and the community we serve.

Our team is responsible for managing the following sub departments: Career Technical Education for students, Social Emotional Learning Education and Special Education.

Career Technical Education for Students:

The Career Technical Education program provides students with hands-on learning experiences and skills development in various industries, preparing them for future careers.

Social Emotional Learning:

Our Social Emotional Learning initiative fosters students' emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, promoting a positive school environment that supports their overall well-being.

Special Education:

The Special Education department ensures that students with diverse learning needs receive personalized support and resources, empowering them to achieve their full potential in an inclusive environment.

We are defined by our outstanding staff. Our team’s hard work, commitment to our children, and dedication to improvement are critical to our educational offerings. We currently serve 30,000 residents and nearly 3,000 students.
