• Expulsions & Suspension Appeals

Expulsions

The District Designated Hearing Officer is responsible for conducting the expulsion hearings for the school district. Students may be expelled for up to 80 school days. In some instances, expulsions carry over into the next school year. The superintendent may reduce the length of the expulsion on a case-by-case basis.

Suspension Appeals

Parents may request an appeal of an out-of-school suspension within 10-days of the discipline. The District Hearing Officer will conduct suspension appeals hearing to determine if the discipline will be upheld, modified, or revoked.
