  • The 2022 Media Academy

    A group of professional journalists are looking for local high school students to sign up for a free Media Academy. Students will learn how to produce, report, and write news stories from local professional journalists from WKYC Studios, WEWS News, Cleveland.com, The Plain Dealer and Greater Cleveland Association of Black Journalists. The free program will conclude with a graduation. To sign up, visit www.cleveland.com/academy.

  • Student Pathways Program Student Application 2022-2023

    Participants in the Student Pathways Program gain exposure to a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical healthcare careers. Through direct interaction with current Cleveland Clinic caregivers, students will explore the world of opportunity available to them in the healthcare field. This includes direct to employment positions, which can be accessed directly after high school.   Not only will Student Pathways Program participants learn about careers through weekly virtual workshops and an onsite observation, students will also receive skills training directly from our Talent Acquisition Team. Topics covered include, resume writing and interview skills.  In addition, students who successfully complete the 2022-2023 Student Pathways Program requirements will receive a stipend of $250.00.

    Real Talk events were created to provide Black students and their families with the tools they need to start planning for their future. This fall, we’ll connect attendees with Black college reps across the country, financial aid experts with insider tips on finding scholarships, college students who’ll give your students a realistic view of campus life, and Black professionals in tech, sports, and entertainment.

    Impact! FREE After-School program for students looking to improve on their ACT skills for the test, explore different career and post-secondary options, and engage with peers and other students.   • Cleveland State University’s Community Learning Center Offers Year Round Tutoring for Students

    Registration is now open for the Community Learning Center for Children and Youth at Cleveland State University. The center offers year round, in-person and remote tutoring for students K-12. Find out more about what the CSU Community Learning Center can offer your child by attending their open house on Thursday, September 23 from 4-7 p.m. The open house takes place in Julka Hall Atrium, 2485 Euclid Avenue.
