Psychological & Mental Health Services

  • Psychological services are consultative to educators in the development of behavioral or social interventions, educational interventions, and specially designed instruction. Our psychologists lead teams in the evaluation process for students who are suspected of having a disability, or those who require a reevaluation to determine continued eligibility. Psychological services are offered to all children in the district who may be in need of the service; with parent input, the building Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) determines if students require these services, or if there is a suspected disability.

Bedford Schools collaborates with mental health facilities that provide counseling or supportive resources to families who demonstrate the need.
