I hope you are taking time to enjoy the summer. This past year has had its share of challenges, but we made it! On June 1, we watched more than 200 students from the Class of 2021 walk across the stage as they received their diplomas and set forth to begin their journey into adulthood. We are so proud of their resiliency, grit and determination to reach their goals.

On August 24, we will welcome all of our students back to a new year. We are excited to once again open our doors with hopes that we can do so mask-free, though that is yet to be determined. We will send updates as the school year approaches.

While we are excited to begin a new year, we are sad to say goodbye to those employees that are leaving us for retirement, promotions, and relocations. While we wish them well, they are leaving a big hole to fill within our Bedford City School District family. Our team has been working tirelessly to fill those open positions and will update our families on the staffing changes as we start the new school year.

I look forward to seeing you in the Fall. Please be safe and enjoy the warmth and sunshine with your family and friends.

    Superintendent Celico
