Bedford, OH – Welcome to Bedford Schools’ new website?  The website boasts a fresher, more contemporary look with more and larger photos and easier navigation to better acquaint visitors to the district. 

Many new features have been added. Among the newest addition are separate sections for parents and students.  Information such as the dress code and links the ProgressBook online grade book and other important sites can be easily accessed from their respective sections. 

A search feature enables visitors to locate information from the homepage using key words.  Visitors to the website can sign up for e-newsletters at both the district and school level.  E-mail addresses for teachers and administrators may be accessed.  And, eventually, students and parents will be able to access teacher website pages directly from the Bedford Schools’ site.

An events calendar has been added for each school and the school district as well.  As events are added or rescheduled, this information can be easily be updated. Additional features include

• Messages from all school principals and the superintendent.

• Easier access to athletic information, athletic website links, and directions to schools.

• Lunch menus for each school.

• More prominent links to BCS-TV the Bedford Schools’ public education channel on Time Warner Cable Channel 22, including a programming schedule, digital signage, and many videos.

• Overviews of some departments not previously featured.

• Dates for upcoming Board of Education meetings.
