The Bedford City School District will host its annual Patriot Day Program on Thursday, September 15 at 6 p.m. in the Columbus Intermediate School Auditorium, 23600 Columbus Road, in Bedford Heights. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
The Patriot Day program will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks at the Pentagon, Twin Towers, and in the skies over Pennsylvania. The district’s program helps to remind us of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and gives us the opportunity to recognize and honor our local safety forces, military troops, and veterans.
Students from all six schools will participate in the 30-minute program, including both the Bearcat marching band and the Madrigal Singers from Bedford High School. The program will precede a regular meeting of the Bedford Board of Education that also will take place in the Columbus School Auditorium immediately following the program.
