General Information

The Bedford City School District operates two primary schools, two intermediate schools, one middle school, and one high school. Our schools are:

A wide range of programs and services are offered to meet the interests and skill levels of youngsters of all ages. Special programs help children learn at their own pace. These include:

Additional programs are offered to address students' personal or emotional needs. Four teachers in the Bedford City Schools have achieved Board Certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. They are Marjorie Falk, Bret Johnson, Kim Rado, and Kerry Taylor. National Board Certification is the highest standard for the teaching profession. It is achieved through a rigorous performance-based assessment that requires teachers to prove their extensive knowledge of the subjects they teach, provide evidence that they know how to teach these subjects most effectively, and demonstrate their ability to measure student learning.
